David Kinnaman is President of Barna Group, a research company located in Ventura, California. Mr. Kinnaman has designed and analyzed hundreds of market research projects, and has overseen 86 nationwide studies on matters of faith, spirituality and cultural dynamics. This body of research is frequently quoted in major media outlets such as USA Today, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times among others. Mr. Kinnaman is author of You Lost Me: Why Young Christians Are Leaving Church...And Rethinking Faith and coauthor of the best-selling book unChristian: What a New Generation Really Thinks About Christianity.
