Father Dave talks with Vatican-certified, practicing exorcist Father Gary Thomas about what's true and what's not about exorcisms and demonic possession, and what this means in terms of our faith life. Father Gary is the subject of the new book "The Rite: The Making of a Modern Exorcist," which chronicles Father Gary's own Vatican training to become an exorcist, and also gives readers an inside look of the church's use of the rite of exorcism, and its role in contemporary life. Living with a disease like multiple sclerosis is something many of us cannot imagine, but for some is a part of their everyday life. For Michael Weiss, MS has been a part of his reality since being diagnosed with the disease in 2004. Facing the disease head-on, Mike has spent much of his time in the last five years fundraising and raising awareness for the disease around the country. He has been ambassador to the New Jersey MS Coast-the-Coast and Walk MS 2009, and has been selected to participate in the Tour of Champions for each of the last 5 years. Father Dave talks with Michael about both his struggles and achievements dealing with MS, and how he strives to inspire others who are going through similar experiences.
