In the newest edition of Busted Halo Show's ongoing feature Real World Catholic Leaders, Father Dave talks with Susan King. Susan is currently the Vice President of External Affairs and the Director of Journalism Initiative, Special initiatives and Strategy for the Carnegie Corporation of New York. Before joining the foundation, Susan served as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at the Department of Labor, a presidential appointee confirmed twice by the Senate, where she oversaw the work of 16 different agencies. As an Emmy-winning journalist, she was both anchor in Washington television, and White House correspondent for ABC. Susan is on the Board of Trustees of several organizations including the BBC World Service Trust and the National Leadership Roundtable on Church Management. Michele Castle is a Catholic working mother of three, who worked for the church for 14 years, including being the director of Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Raleigh, North Carolina.
